Services Overview

As a leading supplier of opacity and dust monitoring systems in the Asia-Pacific region, we need to show our customers that we can supply quality products, with a commitment to an after sales service and technical support program that is second to none. For this reason, we offer the following support services to all of our customers and distributors.


System Design and Product Integration

Remember, for a successful project you should always select your supplier and work with them from the start of the project. In our case we are pleased to be able to offer our experience and technical assistance on all new projects, especially for license conformance applications. On Site Start-Up and Commissioning

The most important phase of new system installation. We offer a range of services during the installation and start-up phases of a project, including mechanical and electrical installation for major projects, and qualified field service engineers for on site commissioning and calibration testing.

After Sales Service

Like all instrumentation, opacity monitors have service maintenance requirements and, in most cases, routine performance testing using certified audit test filters. We can provide field service engineers for all breakdown and routine maintenance support, including annual service contracts where required.

Spare Parts and Phone Service

Our factory service engineers are fully trained in OPAL products and work closely with OPAL manufacturing and testing departments. They can provide assistance with all aspects of installation, commissioning and service diagnostics. If you need urgent spare parts or replacement systems, they can be shipped within 24 hours of instruction.

Distributor and Customer Training

In addition to our factory service support program all of our authorised OPAL distributors are factory service trained to provide dependable service support.

We also offer extensive training courses for all customer technicians when required. The courses are formatted to suit each individual situation and can be conducted at site, or at our factory using the full calibration and assembly facilities. Main course subjects include:

  •   Environmental Regulations and Specifications for Smoke and Particulate monitoring.
  •   Emission Monitoring – General training on all technologies and techniques for smoke and
         dust monitoring.
  •   Basic Theory – Transmissometer Systems.
  •   Routine Maintenance and Service Troubleshooting of OPAL Systems.
  •   Calibration and Test Procedures for OPAL Systems.
